Name Your Price!

I received a fantastic Facebook Instant Message this morning.

I have had a lot of prospects (read: PEOPLE) who have been approaching me for personal training and to join my boot camp.

Too many for me to help actually.

It's not because I don't want to. It's because I DON'T NEED to.

I keep raising my prices and making it tough to join or to book me. I do that ON PURPOSE.

So should you.

First off, get the negative Nelly out of your head and stop telling yourself it isn't possible.

You can do this. You can make fitness work for you and make all the money you want and have a great time helping people and make a difference in their lives and enjoy a lot of free time too.

What's my secret?

Well, first you have to answer a big question having to do with your motives in the first place:




Before we continue this conversation, I want you to STOP and really think about this first.

Of course, there are advantages to a big business, but is that what you really want? I used to think so until I had it and I have also had twenty years to think about it and try every possible permutation of this business. For some people, a big business is the ticket...

But it is a VERY SMALL minority!

Is that what you really want? Or do you really want FREEDOM?

I choose freedom. Especially time freedom.

By starting with a small business with a focus on using my unique ability, my unique perspective, and focused on my perfect customer, I have achieved this and then some. Once you hit that sweet spot for you (starting with the kind of business you want in the first place), the rest follows pretty easily.

It's 80/20 in action. 20% of your actions are responsible for 80% of the outputs (successes).

My 20% was guided by first determining who I am and what I am good at and then aligning that up with the type of people that want that.

If you do this right you can NAME YOUR PRICE!

Yes, it really is that simple. The journey has some details to work through, but all the rest of the crap out there is just a distraction and the process of self-discovery ends up faster and easier.
